The survey shows that users of mobile payment are mainly distributed in economically developed regions and populated areas such as East China, North China, and South China. The application scenarios of mobile payment are small and high-frequency, easy to carry, and can provide convenient services. These are the advantages of mobile payment over cash. The bus, subway and hospital are the scenarios where mobile payment needs to be strengthened the most. Among them, when taking subway buses, the most commonly used mobile payment method is scan code or NFC, while highway tolls mostly use ETC.   CPI, the payment module manufacturer with the highest market share in the world, also conducted a corresponding survey on the Chinese market. It is found that people have different ways of using mobile payment in the layout of vending machines such as high-speed railway stations, citizen fitness centers, and office buildings. The high-speed rail station has a large flow of people, and the proportion of using cash is also relatively large. In fitness places, the proportion of minors and middle-aged and elderly groups is higher than other places, and people who go to exercise are not used to carrying mobile phones, so the proportion of cash payment here is as high as 52%. Secondly, in office buildings and other places for white-collar consumers, the proportion of mobile payment is as high as 89%.  Mobile payment is the foundation of new retail. The payment of the current smart cash register, smart self-service ordering machine, smart vending machine, and smart self-service settlement machine are all based on mobile payment. The popularization of mobile payment has provided the ground for the deployment of these commercial smart devices.   In addition to the above-mentioned office buildings, stations, or community business districts, underground garages have also become the latest layout of unmanned smart vending machines. In the semi-closed space underground, products such as mineral water and fresh milk are convenient for car owners to buy, so that they can be consumed on the road or after parking.   The pace of new retail development has accelerated. From these data, we can also know that although mobile payment is popular, it will still coexist with cash and other payment methods in the short term.
